State Won't Seek Death Penalty In Quadruple Murder

If he's convicted, a man accused of killing four people in cold blood last year at a Metairie apartment complex won't face the death penalty.  The Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office took that off the table during a court hearing on Monday.  Instead, a mandatory life sentence will be all that Armande Tate will face if a jury finds him guilty.  The 21-year-old is accused of shooting three of his victims in the head and repeatedly stabbing the fourth.
