A Jefferson Parish Sheriff's deputy is okay after a woman crashed into his SUV this morning during a high-speed chase on I-10.
Authorities say the woman refused to stop after a police officer tried to pull her over for a traffic violation in Metairie. The suspect then crashed into the deputy's vehicle on the interstate near South Carrollton Avenue, flipping the SUV onto its side.
Deputies say the woman is now in the hospital with minor injuries.
