Secretary of State Tom Schedler Resigns

Louisiana Secretary of State Tom Schedler, under investigation for accusations of sexually harassing an employee, says he will step down effective next Tuesday.

Schedler delivered his resignation letter to the Governor today. Schedler previously announced he would not seek re-election and would finish out his term.

Kyle Ardoin, the first assistant Secretary of State, will lead the office.
