The 17-year-old uncle of a St. Bernard Parish child is in trouble with the law after the little boy was found wandering the streets of Violet early Sunday.
Malik Evans is charged with child endangerment. He was supposed to be watching the toddler when he apparently walked out of the house.
It was about 12 hours later that investigators learned who the boy was from his mother who had been at work and saw a Facebook post about the incident.
