The New Orleans Pelicans will open the regular season on the road against Houston, the team announced Wednesday.
The tip against the Rockets will get a national spotlight on ESPN Wednesday, October 17 at 7 p.m.
While the full 2018-19 regular season schedule is not yet released, we do know the Pelicans will play in Memphis on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. That matchup against the Grizzles will also be televised nationally on TNT at 4:30 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2019.
All games will also be heard in the New Orleans area on the radio home of the Pelicans, News Talk 99.5 WRNO.
Preseason action for the Pels begins on September 30 in Chicago.
