The young African-American girl sent home from her Catholic School in Terrytown for her hairstyle is now getting the red carpet treatment.

A video of Faith Fennidy crying after she was disciplined for her hair extensions at Christ the King School went viral on social media last week.

After seeing the video, Procter and Gamble flew Fennidy to New York City last weekend to walk the red carpet for BET's annual Black Girls Rock! show. It will air September 9th.
