Sex Harassment Survey Urged After City Hall Complaints

New Orleans City Hall is continuing to be rocked and scrutinized after a report of more than a half dozen sexual harassment complaints over the past four months.

The Advocate reports that City Councilwoman Helena Moreno is now calling for a sexual harassment survey to be conducted by the mayor's office in an effort to acquire more extensive data about the situation and the familiarity of employees with what is considered inappropriate workplace behavior.

Moreno also wants the Civil Service Commission to carry out a female-male-employee wage-gap study to uncover possible pay discrimination.
