Teachers Still Not Happy With Governor's Proposed Raise

Governor John Bel Edwards is proposing a $1,000 pay raise next year for teachers and support staff in Louisiana.

However, teachers' groups say the money is not enough, and they're going to push to double the amount.

Donald Songy, Edwards' education policy advisor, says the administration is committed to paying teachers more money, but that it will take more time.
