New Orleans police say a man is behind bars in connection with a double murder in the Little Woods section of the city Tuesday afternoon.
27-year-old Kenneth Augustine has been arrested on two counts of second-degree murder.
A 23-year-old man died at the scene of the shooting on Wales Street, while his 22-year-old wife succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
The couple were the parents of three children, the man holding his one-year-old when he was gunned down.
