An attorney who made a name for himself defending New Orleans police officers accused of misconduct is being stripped of his law license.
Raymond Burkart the Third was disbarred yesterday by the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Several charges of professional misconduct were leveled against Burkart, including allegations that he kept unearned fees and refused to release files to clients who fired him.
