Those traveling the state this holiday weekend or headed out for some Black Friday shopping are getting a break on gas prices.
AAA reports the average price of regular in Louisiana is about 30 cents lower than a month ago, sort of an early Christmas present for drivers. At $2.32 a gallon, the price of the fuel is right about where it was last year at this time.
Quite a few stations are selling regular below $2 a gallon, with a few in the New Orleans area posting a price of just a $1.89.
