Drug testing firm Quest Diagnostics says that Louisiana's drug-test positivity rate is 5.7%, more than 1% higher than the national average.
A map shows the most significant area of positive outcomes for tests detecting the use of amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana and pain medications are in parishes to the north and south of the state's I-10 corridor that stretches from Lake Charles to north of New Orleans.
