Between March and June 2017, the employees were placed under arrest for theft of public assets.  The money they used in the alleged thefts were taken from petty cash, daily deposits and reinstatement transactions.

This is the third year since 2014 where audits have shown an misappropriation of funds by the employees at the Office of Motor Vehicles.  All have been fired from the agency.
