State Police Charge Two With Child Sex Trafficking

State police are identifying two accused child sex traffickers.

Troopers from the LSP's Special Victims Unit in Baton Rouge on Friday arrested 39-year-old Derrick Hall and 21-year-old Shaena Kelly of New Iberia.

The agency announced yesterday that the two were taken into custody on various charges after receiving information that a juvenile female had been forced to engage in sexual activity in Iberia and Lafayette parishes and transported to Texas for the same purpose.

They were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish jail on charges of trafficking children for sexual purposes.
