Four people were shot and two are dead as the result of a shooting Christmas Eve night in the St. James Parish town of Lutcher.
The gunfire erupted around 11:30 on Main Street leaving 20-year-old Thaddeus Watis of Convent dead at the scene and 23-year-old Dedrick Green deceased from his wounds at the hospital. The two other victims, ages 25 and 15, were hospitalized in guarded condition.
No motive or suspect information had been released as of last night with a $5,000 reward being offered for information leading to an arrest.
