St. Tammany School Board Member Refuses To Resign After Shoplifting Arrest

By a vote of 11-4 last night, the St. Tammany Parish School Board is calling for one of its members to resign.

There have been other unofficial calls for Sharon Lo Drucker to step down from the panel following her arrest on a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting last year at a Walmart in Slidell. She reportedly had $58 in unpaid hair care products in her purse.

After the board's vote, Drucker, who is taking part in a year-long diversion program on the shoplifting charge, once again refused to resign.
