A preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board says three of the five children killed when they were ejected from a Marksville church van during a fiery crash in Florida earlier this year were wearing seatbelts.

The January accident on I-75 near Gainesville was triggered by an 18-wheeler and involved several vehicles.

The nine children and three adults from Avoyelles House of Mercy Church were headed to Walt Disney World at the time of the crash that claimed a total of seven lives.
