Deputies investigating a home invasion in Slidell have uncovered a prostitution operation connected to the incident.
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office says they were called out for a home invasion and attempted kidnapping. When they arrived, they found three Hispanic males in a vehicle outside the residence, and one of the men had allegedly entered the home with a gun and tried to force a woman into the vehicle. The three males were all booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail on various charges.
A follow-up investigation into the incident unveiled a prostitution ring involving the victim and the suspect who allegedly entered the home. The victim has since been arrested and charged.
