Victim Of Monday's I-10 Pedestrian Death Identified

The victim of a deadly pedestrian-vehicle accident on I-10 in Kenner is being identified as 57-year-old Jimmy Douglas.

He died Monday night while attempting to cross the eastbound lanes of the interstate.

Douglas was a resident of the Lincoln Manor neighborhood and was not known to cross the interstate, police noting that was not his usual route.

No charges were filed against the driver of the vehicle that hit him.
