Shake Shack has announced it will open another location in New Orleans later this year.
The popular east coast hamburger chain's second announced location in Louisiana will be in the Canal Place shopping center, at the corner of Canal and North Peters.
Shake Shack will also be an option for hungry travelers at the new north terminal of Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport when it opens in a few months.
The New Orleans locations will feature special menu items unique to the Louisiana and Gulf Coast region.
Shake Shack was founded in New York City in 2004 and offers burgers, crinkle-cut French fries, chicken, hot dogs, local beer, wine, and even treats for dogs.
