Museum officials say the new location of the Louisiana Children's Museum will be ready at the end of August.
The Museum is moving to Henry Thomas Drive on the south side of the 1,300 acre City Park.
Managers with the facility said over the weekend they would close down the current Warehouse District location on July 27th which will give them just over a month to move into the new site at City Park by August 31st.
The new museum will be on an almost nine-acre space near Little Lake, the New Orleans Botanical Garden, a championship golf course, and an amusement park.
