Police: Metairie Triple Murder Shooting Suspect Targeted Random Victims

Officials say the man accused of killing three people during a two-day shooting spree in Jefferson Parish chose his victims at random.

According to yesterday's reports, 22-year old Sean Barrette faces two counts of first-degree murder, one count of second-degree murder and two counts of obstruction of justice.

New Orleans Police arrested Barrette at his parent's home and were able to use ballistics to trace a weapon found in his possession to the killings.

Authorities have connected Barrette to at least two other crimes and believe he may be a serial killer.
