A new study reports Louisiana is one of the least safe states in the nation.

WalletHub looked at 52 key safety indicators across five different categories, such as assaults per capita, the number of fatal occupational injuries per total workers, total loss from climate disasters and the number of people who are uninsured.

Louisiana tied for first place for the most amount of loss from climate disasters per capita.

Louisiana also came in third place for the most fatalities per 100 million vehicle miles of travel, highest rates of unemployment and highest bully-incident rates, and was fourth for the most number of assaults per capita.

Overall Louisiana came in at the second most dangerous state, right behind Mississippi.
