(New Orleans, LA) -- New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is launching her affordable housing tour at six o'clock tonight at Martin Luther King High School. Community meetings will take place across the area in hopes of making affordable housing more available. The project will have about 600-million-dollars to work with in addition to 642 new affordable housing spaces that will become available for residents. Cantrell is working to give more opportunities through the homeless initiative and will focus on helping the elderly and physically challenged with paying rent.
