Officials say several people were injured and at least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle pileup on I-10 near Baton Rouge.
Authorities confirmed they found burned remains of a victim yesterday after extinguishing a massive fire that swept over multiple semi-trucks.
According to reports, one of the semi-trucks involved in the crash was carrying a highly-flammable marine pollutant which sparked the fire.
Firefighters say it took a HAZMAT crew close to four hours to bring the blaze under control.
