Officials say the long-awaited new terminal at Louis Armstrong International Airport is on track to be open this fall.
Airport authorities gave an update to the City Council yesterday, telling them the recent issues with the terminal's sanitary drain system will not affect the opening date.
The project was originally thought to have been ready last May but has been delayed several times.
No exact date for the terminal's opening has been released to the public.
