The New Orleans Police Department is hosting its first innovation lab on juvenile crime this morning.
According to the department, the lab will be a place for police, the juvenile court system, community outreach programs and rehabilitation services to all collaborate.
The focus of the lab will be addressing the sky-high number of car burglaries in the area, which the department claims is mostly comprised of juvenile suspects.
