Funeral services for fallen Mandeville Police Captain Vincent Liberto will take place this Friday.
Liberto, a 25-year veteran of the force, was killed on Friday during a vehicle chase on the North Shore of New Orleans.
His death marks the first Mandeville officer to be killed in the line of duty in more than half a century.
Services will take place at the Castine Center in Mandeville beginning at noon and will be open to the public.
