Officials say the man who impersonated a police officer over the weekend in St. Charles Parish may be connected to incidents in Mississippi.
Investigators said yesterday that the Louisiana suspect and a second impersonator are very similar but could not yet confirm they were the same person.
The fake cop pulled over a woman on a remote part of I-10 West near the Spillway on Sunday night using an older model Dodge Charger equipped with red and blue flashing lights.
Police say if you're concerned about who is pulling you over, put on your flashers and call 911 to ask for verification from a dispatcher.
