St. Tammany officials are signing a declaration of emergency as the parish deals with the aftermath of Tropical Storm Olga.
St. Tammany Parish President Pat Brister on Monday instructed crews to work on removing tree debris blocking roadways to aid utility workers as they try to reestablish power to affected residents.
Brister said the damage across the parish caused by high winds from Olga was widespread and massive.
