Entergy CEO Leo Denault claims lower energy rates proposed by the New Orleans City Council last week are "not just and reasonable."
The company has been in the midst of discussions with the City Council over the rates it's allowed to charge customers.
Last week, the City Council's utility committee passed a resolution that comes out to about a $3 reduction each month on bills.
According to Entergy, the rates should not be cut as much as the Council is pushing for because the funds are needed to invest in infrastructure projects over the next several years.
