The Internal Revenue Service is putting a lien on the Sewerage & Water Board for unpaid taxes.
According to the tax lein, S&WB failed to pay two types of taxes between the years of 2015 through 2018.
The 941 tax and the 945 tax both involve withholding money from the government and board employees, which totaled in nearly $200,000 from the company.
The Sewerage & Water Board issued a statement yesterday saying it has been in constant communication with the IRS since the lein was filed and is committed to resolving the issue.
