New Tarp In Place To Cover Remains Of Hard Rock Victim

A new tarp is now in place to cover the body of a worker who was killed when the Hard Rock Hotel collapsed last October.

Crews bravely worked in dangerous conditions on Wednesday to shield the remains after outrage from citizens about the situation being shared on social media despite pleas to respect the grieving families.

The previous tarp covering the body came loose earlier this week and fell away, revealing the legs of a man who is still trapped under the debris.

New Orleans Fire Chief Tim McConnell spoke to reporters saying the building has become extremely dangerous, and the area where the worker lies is no longer safely accessible.
