Two of the three parades forced to cancel yesterday are set to roll today instead.
High winds on Thursday forced three parades to postpone with the Krewe of Muses and the Knights of Babylon rescheduling for today at earlier times.
Muses will begin their route at 4:45 p.m. with Babylon to follow at 5:15 p.m. and they will skip the Magazine part of their routes.
Friday's regularly scheduled parades will then roll with Krewe of Hermes beginning at 5:30 p.m. and Krewe D'Etat an hour later in Uptown.
In Slidell, the Krewe of Selene starts at 6:30 p.m., and then the Krewe of Morpheus will take their route down St. Charles Avenue at 7 p.m.
