Officials say two cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee and Arkansas had visited New Orleans last month for Mardi Gras.

Health Department researchers who are tracking the spread of the virus confirmed yesterday that the patient in Arkansas had recently been in the Crescent City for Mardi Gras.

Doctors said there is no way yet to determine if this is where the Arkansas patient was infected, but two other positive patients in Tennessee also traveled together to New Orleans in February for Mardi Gras.
