Louisiana is being dubbed as the state with the highest coronavirus infection rates.

Data from the University of Louisiana suggests that the state's COVID-19 cases grew nearly 68% in the first two weeks.

Governor John Bel Edwards warned about the inability to flatten the curve and shortage of beds, which led to his recent stay-at-home order.

Louisiana now has over 1,000 confirmed cases and about 34 deaths as of Monday.
