The Archdiocese of New Orleans says its schools will keep their campuses closed for the remainder of the academic year.

The Archdiocese made the announcement yesterday, citing Governor Edwards' decision to extend Louisiana's stay-at-home order until May 15th.

The state's public schools had previously announced back in mid-April they would not re-open before the fall.

The Archdiocese says remote learning will continue, and families experiencing tuition hardships should contact their school principals about assistance programs.
