The Louisiana Supreme Court says it will hear its cases next month outside of the courtroom through video conferencing.

Court officials confirmed over the weekend that oral arguments and hearing scheduled for June 8th and 9th would take place remotely over video.

Supreme Court proceedings have been live-streamed since 2007, but this will mark the first time the justices, lawyers, and litigants will be in separate locations.
