Demolition teams are gearing up to demolish the Hard Rock Hotel site.
The final approved plans come after the city gave contractors the green light on the latest plan submitted.
Officials say the teams plan to tear down the site using cranes with a traditional demolition, taking down the site piece by piece instead of an implosion.
Although crews are ready to go, the actual demolition can't begin until the developer gets permission from a city landmark commission to knock down three buildings in the debris zone.
Officials are expected to vote on granting that approval next week.
