One of the alleged victims accusing former St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain of sexual abuse is filing a civil lawsuit.
According to court documents released yesterday, plaintiff Mark Finn is suing over claims he suffered from years of abuse by Strain, including non-consensual sex and forced acts with animals.
In the lawsuit, Finn says the abuse began when he was six years-old, and Strain was a teenager in various locations around Strain's family property.
No court date for the civil case was announced, and Strain is currently facing both state and federal charges for rape, incest, corruption, and bribery.
