Nearly 4,000 Added To COVID-19 Presumed Recovered Total In Louisiana

The Louisiana Department of Health announced Wednesday the number of presumed recovered COVID-19 cases in Louisiana increased by 3,919 to 161,792.

The latest coronavirus numbers included an additional 331 reported cases, which brought the running tally to 173,121 cases in Louisiana since the pandemic began.

State health officials also announced nine additional deaths to bring that total to 5,495.

Hospitalizations increased by nine to 582 with 64 patients on ventilators, down four from Tuesday.
