New Orleans is moving into the next phase of reopening.

Mayor LaToya Cantrell said today the city is moving into phase 3.3 of its coronavirus reopening plan starting on Wednesday.

This next step is allowing the city to have customers sit inside at restaurants and have a capacity of 25% or 50 people.

As Gov. John Bel Edwards has relaxed coronavirus restrictions, New Orleans has maintained stricter rules than the rest of the state.
