The Louisiana Department of Health reported 5,326 additional COVID-19 cases Tuesday. 3,948 are confirmed coronavirus cases while 1,378 are considered probable.
"Due to a recent processing error, some COVID-19 data that would have been reported November 29-30 is being reported today," said state health officials.
The total number of cases reported stood at 237,740.
Deaths increased by 35 to 6,455. Hospitalizations rose by 39 to 1,280. The number of patients on ventilators was up three to 128.
