The Kenner Police Department says two men were arrested on Wednesday in Tennessee in connection to a brutal robbery and murder last week.

Officials said yesterday that Eric Rodgers, 29, and Lamonte Loggins, 28, were taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Memphis, Tennessee.

Police say the men entered the Shell Gas Station on Williams Boulevard, robbed the clerk, and then Loggins shot him while he was on his knees.

Loggins has been booked on a charge of first-degree murder, with Rodgers facing a count of second-degree murder.
