The Louisiana Department of Health reported an additional 1,022 COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the running total since the pandemic began to 269,643. The death toll rose by 27 to 6,485.
Hospitalizations fell by six to 1,527 while the number of patients on ventilators fell by 15 to 147.
The number of presumed recovered from COVID-19 stood at 217,930 as of last Monday.
