The state Health Department is reporting just over 3,300 new cases of COVID-19 to bring the state to over 400,000 total since March.
The combined data for Saturday and Sunday showed 3,355 new cases of the virus with 58 deaths.
Officials said hospitalizations dropped by over 40 patients since Friday, and there are now 1,546 people being treated in Louisiana hospitals, with ventilator use down to 198.
In Louisiana, there have been an estimated 344,000 recoveries from COVID-19 and just over 8,800 deaths since March.
