The number of patients in Louisiana fighting COVID-19 in a hospital has fallen to 687, the Louisiana Department of Health announced Wednesday.
Of those, 111 remain on ventilators, a decrease of nine overnight.
LDH reported 879 additional COVID-19 cases, which brought the running total since the pandemic began to 426,925.
There are 408,463 presumed recovered from the coronavirus statewide, an increase of 11,629 from last week.
