FEMA To Offer Help With Funeral Expenses Of Those Who Died From COVID-19

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is offering help to the families who lost loved ones due to COVID-19.

Details released over the weekend of a program FEMA is offering would provide money to help with funeral expenses for coronavirus deaths after January 20, 2020.

There have been over 10,000 deaths from the virus in Louisiana and the FEMA program offers a maximum of $9,000 per funeral and $35,000 per application.

The program will begin on April 12.
