A new poll conducted by Louisiana State University says nearly 1/3 of the state's population is planning to refuse being vaccinated.

Data released yesterday from the LSU Public Policy Research Lab showed 32% of respondents would not seek vaccination, with 9% unsure.

The reluctance to be vaccinated also broke down political party lines, with 43% of Republican respondents against vaccines compared to 13% of Democrats.

Louisiana currently ranks 45th in the country in vaccinations, with 17% of the population considered fully vaccinated.
