Spirit Offering Direct Flights From New Orleans To Cancun, Honduras In July

Spirit Airlines is adding more direct international flights from the city.

On Thursday, Spirit announced that it's introducing direct international flights from New Orleans to Cancun, Mexico and to San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Officials say flights to Cancun will start on July 2, while flights to San Pedro Sula are expected to begin on July 8.

Both flights were supposed to have begun last March but were delayed to the pandemic.
